Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 8, 2026

The short version

  • Your images are processed on your own device. They are never uploaded to our servers, never stored and never used to train AI.
  • We do not use tracking cookies and we do not create user accounts.
  • We count page views, processed images and downloads in total, by country. These are plain numbers with no personal data attached.
  • If you contact us through the advertising form, we keep the details you send so we can reply.

1. Images you edit

When you open an image on Cutmora, it is read by your browser and processed by an AI model that runs on your device. The image and the result stay in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page. We never receive, see or store your images.

2. The AI model

To run the AI, your browser downloads the model file from our servers or our content-delivery provider and may keep a copy in your browser's storage so it does not need to be downloaded again. This file contains no information about you. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

3. Usage counts

When an image is processed or downloaded, your browser sends a message containing only the word "processed" or "download". We add one to that day's total. We also count page views, and note the country each visit comes from so we can see where our visitors are; the country is read from the connection at that moment and only the country name is kept, as part of a daily total. We do not store your IP address, device details or any identifier with these counts.

4. Advertising enquiries

If you use the "Advertise with us" form, we store the name, company, email address, website, budget and message you provide, so we can answer your enquiry. We use this information only to communicate with you about advertising and delete it on request. Legal basis (GDPR): your request to enter into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.

5. Advertisements

Some pages may show advertisements. When you click an ad, we count the click (as a number only) and send you to the advertiser's website, whose own privacy policy then applies.

6. Server logs and security

Like any website, our hosting and security providers may process technical data such as IP addresses for a short time to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.

7. Your rights

If you live in the European Economic Area, the UK or a region with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (in practice, only advertising enquiries). Contact us through the contact form.

8. Children

Cutmora is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
